Data Deletion
Last updated: October 13, 2026
1. How to request deletion of your data
Deletion requests are handled by Bridgeware Technologies, which owns and operates Parlario; “we” and “us” on this page mean Bridgeware Technologies.
To request deletion of your account, your organization's account, or specific data (for example, a contact or a conversation), write to us at privacy@parlario.co from the email associated with your account, telling us what you'd like deleted. If you're a contact who received messages from a business using Parlario (not the account owner), you can also write to us and we'll verify the request with the corresponding business, or you can contact that business directly.
Parlario doesn't yet offer a self-service button to delete an entire account from the interface itself — every deletion request is processed manually by our team after verifying your identity.
Exception: if you're your organization's owner, you can immediately remove a single team member's account yourself from Settings → Team, without writing to us — that deletes that person's access and data instantly. This section refers to deleting your entire account (or your organization's), which follows the manual process described above.
2. What gets deleted
When we confirm an account deletion request, we permanently delete:
- Contacts and their associated notes.
- Conversations and message history (inbound and outbound).
- Leads and their position in the sales pipeline.
- Saved WhatsApp connection credentials (encrypted token, WABA identifiers and phone number).
- Saved Instagram connection credentials (encrypted token and connected professional account data).
- Saved Telegram connection credentials (encrypted bot token and the hashed webhook secrets).
- Shared knowledge base entries and WhatsApp message templates.
- Laboratorio self-evaluation runs and transcripts.
- User account data (name, email, hashed password).
We don't delete the minimal billing identifiers that the law requires us to keep for accounting or tax purposes (for example, the record that a subscription existed and its date), nor records that Meta, Telegram or Stripe keep in their own systems.
3. Timeframe
We delete the requested data from our production database within up to 30 days of confirming your request. Encrypted backup copies, if any, are overwritten in the normal backup rotation cycle and are not used to restore data already deleted.
4. Disconnecting your WhatsApp number, Instagram account or Telegram bot
If you just want to stop using Parlario with one of your WhatsApp numbers or Instagram accounts without deleting the rest of your account (for example, to connect a different number or account), your organization's owner can disconnect it at any time from Settings → Channels → WhatsApp or Settings → Channels → Instagram, using the “Disconnect” button next to that number or account. Disconnecting deletes that connection's saved credentials (token and WABA data, or token and Instagram account data) immediately, without touching your contacts or conversation history, and without affecting any other number or account you have connected. If you can't access your account, you can also write to us at privacy@parlario.co and we'll do it for you.
Telegram. The organization's owner can disconnect the Telegram bot at any time from Settings → Channels → Telegram, using the “Disconnect” button. Disconnecting removes the webhook Parlario registered at Telegram and deletes the stored bot token immediately, so Parlario can no longer send or receive through that bot. Contacts and conversations already received stay in Parlario, as with the other channels, until your organization deletes them or asks us to (see section 1). Telegram keeps its own copy of the chats under its own terms, between Telegram and the people involved; Parlario can't delete data held by Telegram, and the bot itself can only be removed through Telegram's own tools (for example @BotFather). If you can't access your account, you can also write to us at privacy@parlario.co and we'll disconnect it for you.
The same applies if your organization moves to a plan that allows fewer connected numbers or accounts than it has: after the 7-day period described in the Terms and Conditions, the connections that exceed the plan are disconnected in the same way, and their credentials are deleted; contacts and conversation history are kept.
Additionally, if you revoke Parlario's corresponding app access from your Meta/Facebook Business account settings (instead of doing it from Parlario), Meta automatically notifies our system of that change — WhatsApp and Instagram use two separate Meta apps, each with its own revocation notice — and we delete the saved connections that revocation covers for your organization, without you needing to write to us.
